Amber N. Davis is Board Certified by the Florida Bar in the area of Intellectual Property and is rated AV Preeminent® by Martindale-Hubbell. Only 7% of eligible Florida Bar members are board certified in their respective practice areas and being Board Certified means that Amber has met the highest standards for special knowledge, skills and proficiency in the areas of intellectual property, professionalism and ethics in the practice of law.

Amber is a former Managing Partner at Wolter Van Dyke Davis and specializes in IP litigation in State and Federal Courts across the U.S., complex commercial litigation, trademark prosecution, as well as trademark, patent, copyright and trade secret transactional matters. Amber also handles Opposition and Cancellation Proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (“TTAB”), ex partes reexamination, Inter Partes Review (IPR), and Covered Business Method Review (CBM) proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (“PTAB”). Amber’s extensive trademark practice includes filing and prosecuting over 800 trademark applications, conducting trademark availability searches, providing infringement opinions, filing Letters of Protest, and handling all forms of pre-litigation and litigation. She counsels business owners located all across Country and many individuals and business in Florida, including, but not limited to Orlando, Winter Park, Daytona Beach, Tampa, Clearwater, Jacksonville, Vero Beach, Melbourne, the Panhandle and the Miami-Dade area on better ways to protect their intellectual property and prevent others from infringing. Amber also handles ICANN proceedings in front of the National Arbitration Forum and WIPO. Her litigation experience typically involves claims such as patent infringement, trademark infringement, trade dress infringement, copyright infringement, anti-cybersquatting, theft of trade secrets, unfair competition, computer fraud and abuse act, deceptive and unfair trade practices (FDUTPA), tortious interference, breach of contract and/or breach of restrictive covenants and other related claims. In addition to litigating such matters in federal and state court all across the State of Florida and acting as local counsel, Amber has also handled complex arbitration proceedings in the International Court of Arbitration (“ICC”) and the America Arbitration Association (“AAA”).

Amber is currently the President of the Orange County Bar Association (“OCBA”), and a Board Member for the Winter Park Racquet Club (“WPRC”). She is also a Past President of the Young Lawyers Section of the OCBA, she chaired the OCBA’s Intellectual Property Committee in previous years and was also on the Steering Committee for the Annual Florida Bar IP Symposium, 2013-2014. She is an active member in the Federal Bar Association – Orlando Chapter and previously sat on the Grievance Committee for both the Florida Bar and for the Middle District of Florida.
