Amaris C. Gyebi is an associate attorney with the firm, focused on intricate intellectual property litigation matters in the field of patents, trademarks, and copyrights. Her litigation experience extends to both federal and state proceedings, as well as administrative matters before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.

A proud Orlando native and a “double Gator,” Amaris graduated from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 2019 and the University of Florida in 2015, where she received bachelor’s degrees in English and Criminology.

During her time in law school, Amaris was an active member of the Florida Trial Team, with which she placed highly in several competitions, including receiving Best Opening at the Puerto Rico Trial Advocacy Competition and earning a finalist position in the Chester Bedell Memorial Mock Trial Competition. Along with these accomplishments, Amaris also received book awards in both her Trial Practice and Mock Trial courses and was inducted as a member of the Order of Barristers.

Prior to joining the firm, Amaris worked as a judicial intern for the Honorable Thomas M. Jaworski at the Eighth Judicial Circuit. She additionally worked in various litigation practice areas ranging from employment law, bankruptcy, foreclosure, and medical malpractice defense as a law clerk and extern.

Amaris joined the firm as a summer law clerk in 2018 and joined our team as an associate following her graduation from law school. Since joining the firm, Amaris has been active in the Orlando community as a member of the Orange County Bar Association, the Federal Bar Association, and serving as counsel for children in dependency proceedings as a Guardian ad Litem.
